POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior Human Resources Generalist will lead and execute HR functions at our Hawkinsville, GA. facility, serving as a strategic partner to site leadership and a champion for employee engagement. This role is responsible for overseeing onboarding, policy administration, labor relations, and compliance, while driving initiatives that foster a positive and productive workplace culture. The Senior Generalist will also support other HR staff and contribute to broader organizational HR strategies.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as a strategic advisor to plant leadership and employees, promoting a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvementLead full-cycle talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, proactive sourcing, interviewing, and onboardingManage complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions aligned with company values and legal complianceInterpret and enforce HR policies and procedures consistently across the site; contribute to policy development and refinementCollaborate with cross-functional HR teams across locations to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practicesOversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including maintenance of employee records and required reportingIn partnership with site Environmental, Health and Safety team, administer Workers' Compensation and Disability programs, ensuring timely case management and documentationLead the preparation and submission of annual reports, including the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and other compliance documentsDesign and support employee engagement initiatives, community outreach, and internal communicationsMentor junior HR staff and provide guidance on HR operations and professional developmentEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and complianceExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives and influence across all levels of the organizationSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:Strong knowledge of HR disciplines: employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, DEI, and employment lawExcellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skillsFirst Aid/CPR Certification preferredPHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification a plusCORE COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:Strong sense of leadership, integrity, and accountabilityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHollingsworth & Vose is an equal opportunity employer.
