Mulesoft API Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a MuleSoft API Developer to join a leading credit union based in Hauppauge, NY . The MuleSoft API Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and managing API integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to support the client's Teachers API platform. This position will be onsite in Hauppauge, NY! Responsibilities of the MuleSoft API Developer include: Design and implement API integrations and enhancements using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Develop scalable, secure APIs aligned with organizational goals and best practices Oversee API platform operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization Collaborate with IT, business units, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality solutions Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements Manage vendor relationships and handle escalations related to API services Support continuous improvement initiatives and integration strategies Qualifications for the MuleSoft API Developer include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience (API management, integration development, deployment) Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, Monitoring, and DataWeave Proficient in REST, SOAP, and web service integration protocols Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tools Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4) MuleSoft Certified Architect - Level 1 or higher Additional certifications in API management or cloud computing are a plus Compensation for the MuleSoft API Developer includes: Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays This job opens for applications on 2/12.
