Estimator Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary project details. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements and costs. Source and evaluate vendor pricing, materials, and labor costs. Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals. Provide cost-saving recommendations without compromising project quality. Prepare and present cost reports and updates to stakeholders. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and pricing strategies. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: Strong knowledge of the property and construction industry, particularly in cost estimation and project budgeting. Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
