Ymca of Greater Hartford Job Description Job Title: Talent Acquisition Administrator FLSA Status: Exempt Primary Department: Administration Job Grade: 10 Reports to: Chief Human Resources Officer Leadership Level: Leader Revision Date: February 2026 POSITION SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Administrator will partner with organizational leaders to develop and execute an organization-wide talent acquisition strategy to effectively attract, select and on-board high performing, cause-driven leaders. In addition, this role will work to streamline the recruitment process via the HRIS system and work with top organization leaders on various aspects of this process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Consult with key leaders and hiring managers to understand operational needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to identify and source current open positions and identify talent gaps and future need. Work with hiring managers to proactively source and develop a talent pool pipeline in advance of need. Respond to all Job Requisitions in a timely manner via posting on both the internal HRIS system as well as external recruitment sites (Indeed) Follow up with hiring managers on recruitment needs, open positions, and early seasonal planning Responsible for recruiting, college recruiting, internships, job fairs, etc. Take proactive steps to boost applicant flow from candidates identified as underrepresented in Affirmative Action plan. Assist hiring managers in the execution of the recruiting process including sourcing, screening, assessments, interviews, reference checks, selection and on-boarding Execute all steps after the candidate has been hired in a timely manner including Offer letters and various onboarding documents Ensure the timely processing of background checks for all new hires and volunteers QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree OR 2-3 year's experience in Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Strong customer service skills Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource laws. Demonstrated knowledge of current recruitment and sourcing methods and resources. HRIS Systems experience preferred. UKG experience ideal. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with little supervision. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit for extended duration. Must be able to bend and stoop occasionally. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
