About the Position The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee medium- and large-scale mechanical HVAC and plumbing projects from inception through closeout. This role will manage personnel, schedules, and budgets while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The Project Manager will be empowered with the resources and support to grow within the organization, take on increasingly complex projects, and help introduce modern mechanical construction methodologies and technologies. Key Responsibilities Include: Managing mechanical HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction through final closeout Leading and coordinating field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans Serving as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and design teams Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents Managing change orders, cost tracking, and project documentation Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures Identifying risks and proactively resolving project issues Supporting the adoption of new construction technologies and best practices Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; significant HVAC or plumbing trade experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial mechanical subcontractor Project Experience: Healthcare, retail, K–12, university, light industrial, warehouse, and/or government projects Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems and installation methods Benefits Competitive base salary of $80,000 – $130,000 Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) and retirement benefits Paid time off and holidays Career growth and professional development opportunities Stable, long-term employment with a respected regional mechanical contractor
