Infection Preventionist and Data Analyst

Responsible for the coordination and management of a hospital-wide infection prevention program, in accordance with current regulatory agency standards and HRH policies and procedures. Responsible for coordination and facilitation of data abstraction for required reporting. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; BSN preferred Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri or licensure eligible required Knowledge of infection prevention practices Certified in infection control (CIC) within 2 years of date of hire, minimum of 3 years clinical experience in hospital setting Ability to assess data reflective of patient's status Ability to interpret patient's requirements relative to specific needs. Proficient in various programs including Microsoft Excel and Word Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, and coordinate multiple duties simultaneously.
