Leigh & Co. Events is a vibrant and rapidly expanding wedding planning company covering various regions across the United States. We invite passionate planners to join our team as Lead Wedding Coordinators. This is an exciting contract role, allowing you the flexibility to create your own schedule! Comprehensive training will be provided, and compensation ranges from $25 - $35/hour, paid per project. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to our 2026 season and beyond. As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will take the lead in delivering exceptional wedding planning services for couples, primarily on-site. This role is perfect for those who wish to immerse themselves in the vibrant wedding industry. You will collaborate with our assistant coordinators to ensure seamless execution of weddings. Create and manage detailed wedding timelines for couples. Act as a calm and supportive advocate for couples, helping them navigate any challenges on their special day. Oversee setup for both the ceremony and reception. Execute all day-of operations, ensuring you are present at the venue from early morning until the final tear down at night. Welcome and guide all vendors, ensuring effective communication regarding their setups. Organize the setup of seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favors, guest books, and other decor elements. Assist the wedding party and family with any needs, questions, or concerns that arise. Coordinate end-of-event arrangements for gifts, guest books, toasting flutes, and more. Requirements Availability to work weekends is essential. A minimum of 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner is required. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must. Reliable transportation is necessary. Capability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
