Retail Supervising Pharmacist | Hammond, New York

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Manager role at a retail pharmacy location in Ogdensburg, NY. This position is available on either an interim basis (3-6 months) or permanent placement, offering flexibility depending on your availability and career goals. The schedule includes Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sundays off. Key responsibilities include registering as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations, and managing the full pharmacy operation. You will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy financial goals, including budget and payroll management, inventory control, and scheduling. This role involves developing business initiatives both in-store and within the community, leading and training pharmacy staff, and ensuring all team members complete required trainings. Providing patient-centered services like immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs is a vital part of this position. You will also counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, side effects, and therapy optimization, while maintaining a clean and compliant pharmacy environment. Desired qualifications include an active New York pharmacy license and immunization certification, with confidence administering all vaccines. Recent pharmacy management experience is preferred.
