Warehouse Operations Technician

Position: Warehouse Operations TechnicianLocation: Hahnville, LA (onsite)Duration: Long-term contract (minimum 1 year, likely extension)Schedule: 40 hours/week + OT during turnarounds/unplanned eventsShift: Rotating 4x10s and 5x8sPay rate: $35/hour on W2 - $40/hour on W2We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Technician to support warehouse and materials management operations at a client facility in Hahnville, Louisiana. This role involves inventory support, order pulling, receiving shipments, forklift operation, SAP transactions, and day-to-day warehouse activities within an industrial plant environment.Key Responsibilities:• Pull and stage material orders for operations teams• Receive and unload incoming shipments using forklifts• Verify package contents and perform inventory counts• Perform SAP/Mobility transactions and inventory updates• Handle repetitive package/material movement throughout the shift• Support multiple warehouse departments as needed• Follow all plant safety procedures and warehouse protocolsRequired Qualifications:• Previous warehouse/material handling experience• Forklift operation experience required• Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)• Ability to learn SAP/Mobility systems• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset• Ability to lift/move approximately 25 lbs repeatedly• TWIC card required• Valid driver's license requiredPreferred Experience:• Industrial, refinery, chemical plant, manufacturing, or plant warehouse environment experience• SAP or inventory management system experienceInterview Process:• Onsite interview with hiring manager• Basic computer skills test included during interviewThis is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial warehouse experience seeking long-term stable work in a plant environment.GTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
