SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Inspector III to support inspection and airworthiness activities for aircraft, systems, and components. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and government regulations, identifying discrepancies, and supporting safe return-to-service decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on inspection experience, deep knowledge of aircraft systems, and a commitment to safety and quality in aviation operations.ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections on aircraft, systems, equipment, and components to ensure airworthiness and regulatory complianceConduct in-process inspections and final inspections for minor work (non-337)Approve return-to-service for qualifying maintenance actions (non-337 work)Identify and document discrepancies, defects, or non-conformance issuesEnsure adherence to manufacturer specifications and applicable aviation regulationsApply inspection and audit processes to maintain quality and safety standardsUtilize Microsoft Office tools to document findings and support reportingWork in safety-sensitive environments involving aircraft systems, hazardous materials, and equipmentOperate in dynamic environments, including exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and chemicalsRequirements:Active and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificationHigh school diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and inspection proceduresExperience applying inspection, audit, and quality assurance processesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to meet physical demands (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive motion, visual/hearing acuity)Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of 14 CFR Chapter 1 regulationsExperience with FAA Repair Station operations or aviation inspection environmentsInspection Authorization (IA) designationBackground in Aerospace & Defense, DoD, or military aviationWork Environment & ConditionsFrequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and loud environmentsWork around fumes, hazardous materials, and aviation equipmentSafety-sensitive role involving inspection of aircraft, equipment, and potentially hazardous materials
