The clinician conducts assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and provides individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities. The position collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, courts, schools, and community partners to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services. Timely,Duties and Responsibilities: Compliant with funding source, contract and or program's Annex AComplete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedureProvide competent, direct clinical services for individuals with co-occurring (mental health and substance use) children, adolescents and families through a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family therapy.Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment appropriate to psychiatric recommendations and members presenting concerns regardless of race, gender, culture, or ethnicity.Develop, review, and maintain treatment plans that includes long term goals, short-term objectives, and interventionsParticipates in regular clinical supervision in accordance with the guidelines of his/her professional organization; take responsibility with maintaining professional license; obtain advanced license, participate in staff professional development trainings and workshops as mandated/requiredUtilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral and cognitive modalities and collaboratively develop individual and family service plans and goals which are behaviorally specific with the familyProvide crisis intervention as neededDevelop a transition plan with individuals/families to assist with termination and ensure linkage to ongoing supportWillingness to utilize clinical supervision to promote independent decision-making and enhance system collaboration within a multidisciplinary teamComplete required NJSAMS documentation in a timely basis in accordance with program protocolComplete all documentation in electronic health record on a timely basis as per program protocolCoordinate treatment planning with DCP&P, schools, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole, IDRC, SAI/BHI and other relevant agencies and servicesComplete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole and IDRC on a timely basisComplete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.Meet with supervisor and clinical supervisor on a regular basisStays familiar with community resources including 12-step and other recovery-oriented meetings and refer clients as indicatedBecome familiar with community resourcesBecome familiar with all agency programs for proper referralsOther duties as assigned.
