MercyOne Guttenberg is in need of additional Hospitalist candidates! looking to add 2 more providers to the pool for ongoing coverage. Current dates needing coverage:March 3-5 (weekend)March 16March 27March 31-April 2 (weekend)Call on weekends (7:30a Fri - 7:30a Mon)Weekdays are 7:30a - 7:30aReason for need: Backfill coverageInpatient -- admitting, rounding and backing up the NP in the EDAPPs provide coverage 24/7Patient population: adult, pediatric, medicine, traumaSolo coverage - only Hospitalist during coverage1-2 admissions per day; 0 ICU; 5-6 inpatientsWill respond to house codesWill cover Patient Care Unit on the 2nd floor of the hospitalWill be responsible for supervising other healthcare providersEMR: EpicTrauma level 4Required procedures: Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap), Intubation (ETT/INT), Chest Tube insertion, Central Line, PICC Line, Newborn Resuscitation, General Inpatient pediatrics, Non-displaced fractures, suturing of minor lacerations, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, EKG interpretation~90 day credentialing timeline, but able to grant temp privs in 2 weeks, if needed*Please Note: Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.Requirement description : Board Certified - RequiredMust be comfortable backing up the NP in the ED while coveringActive IA license - Highly PreferredBLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS - Required, must be obtained before startingNeed to be comfortable with Peds - RequiredNeeds to be semi-local (will not reimburse for flights)COVID Vaccine - Required, note at time of name clear
