Delivery Operations Specialist Compensation Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.50. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job. Additional compensation opportunities may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums, based on schedule, facility, or specific work performed. The Delivery Operations Specialist will be responsible for safely operating store vehicles to transport parts and products to professional customers. This role will also involve collecting payments on C.O.D. deliveries and managing customer returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers. Utilize delivery fleet management hand-held devices to manage deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections. Keep delivery vehicles clean and maintained, completing initial inspections prior to use. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected payments at all times. Retrieve customer returns, including new, warranty, and core items, and fill out driver return slips. Communicate any issues or special customer needs to store management promptly. Immediately report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager. Ensure vehicles are fueled and securely locked at the end of each day. Clock in and out per company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and checking in stock orders. Assist customers and serve as cashier when business demands. Execute all other assigned duties. Qualifications: Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences accurately. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Adaptability to changing delivery situations. Driving record must comply with the company's 14/18-point record system. Must possess a valid state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility criteria. Preferred: Familiarity with automotive parts. Ability to operate light store equipment. Fluency in more than one language, especially Spanish.
