FILLED Chief Financial Officer - CFODescription Executive Search Associates is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy of a well-respected Critical Access Hospital. This role offers the chance to drive financial sustainability, optimize revenue cycles, and provide strategic direction-all while working alongside a dedicated leadership team committed to excellence in rural healthcare. Responsibilities • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO and leadership team. • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the hospital's mission and growth objectives. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital financing to ensure financial stability. • Manage key financial functions, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger. • Lead revenue cycle management and optimize reimbursement strategies. • Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and reporting requirements. • Collaborate with department leaders to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required. • Master's degree preferred. • 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare system. • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, financial forecasting, and risk management. • CPA or CHFP certification preferred.
