Truck Driver / Fork Lift Operator - Bus Driver (1st & 2nd Shift) Duties include the operation of a wide variety of equipment including forklifts, stake trucks and box type trucks. Requirements include moving large diverse loads within the shipyard, at the sub base and on public highways. Job also requires hand sorting, scanning and delivering packages from various warehouses and offices, working in unheated environment and the ability to qualify for a TLD (J-training provided). Job requires a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B or equivalent. Air brake endorsement required. A bus and/or hazmat endorsement to the individuals CDL would be desirable. Applicant must have a clean, safe driving record. Applicant must be able to obtain a medical examiners certificate from the companys medical services and must be willing to submit to random drug/alcohol testing. Applicant must be able to work any shift. Responsibilities: Commercial drivers license (CDL) Clean safe driving record Air brake endorsement Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent 5+ years of experience Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B or equivalent Air brake endorsement Ability to work 2nd shift and other shifts based on business needs Preferred: Bus and/or Hazmat endorsement on CDL Ability to obtain a TLD with training Fork Lift Certification
