Position Overview: As the Executive Director of Dialysis Services, you will be integral in overseeing the administration and clinical direction of our dialysis services within the health system. Your responsibilities will include managing the renal clinic, inpatient dialysis programs, outpatient hemodialysis clinics, home dialysis modalities, and jail dialysis services. Collaborating with our Medical Directors, you will plan, organize, and enhance the growth and efficiency of our dialysis services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing best practices in patient care. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Supervise clinical services across various dialysis sites to guarantee high-quality care and adherence to regulatory standards. Human Resources: Mentor and lead a team of clinical and support staff, playing a vital role in their development, recruitment, and creating a positive work environment. Budget and Planning: Oversee operational and capital budgets to ensure efficient resource utilization while achieving organizational goals. Policy and Procedures: Create and update clinical and administrative policies to ensure continuous compliance with healthcare regulations. Community Relations: Serve as a representative of University Health in the community, promoting our dialysis services in professional and public forums. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required); Master's degree (preferred). Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a clinical nurse supervisor or director role within dialysis services; leadership experience in multi-system dialysis operations is strongly preferred. Certifications: Active RN license in Texas; AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or Instructor certification required. Skills: Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills (bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus), and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
