Overview: Maintenance Mechanic C We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing/bottling facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations. Factory Location: Greenwood, INCompensation: $34.90/hourShift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours workedSchedule: Monday - Friday7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am- 4:00pmAbility to work holidays and weekends per business needsBenefits: Medical, prescription, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, company discounts, paid vacation, and much more! Employees are eligible for benefit election on day 1 of employment Responsibilities: Skills Required:Execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtimeComplete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural componentsComplete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motorsConduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvementsCommunicate, coach and train employees to continuously improve team’s ability to prevent loss of production and respond safely to equipment failuresWork with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is metCommunicate directly with equipment suppliers, contractors, and vendors as necessaryOperate a forklift as needed to complete duties Qualifications: Requirements/Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications desiredTwo or more years of previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferredDemonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environmentStrong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desiredSolid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, OutlookExperience with CMMS or ERP systems preferred, SAP experience a plusAbility to work independently or with a team and communicate effectivelySolid problem solving and decision-making skillsAble to lift and pull 50 lbs as needed while performing workMust be able to do physical inspections of equipment that will require climbing, reaching, and extending arms overheadAbility to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview
