Job Type Full-time Description The Lead Development Engineer delivers technical hands-on development with team leadership. The role is directly responsible for designing, building, and delivering high-quality commercial enterprise products and systems. The ideal candidate will mentor engineers, define development standards, meet agile project timelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals. Requirements Key Responsibilities of the Position Cloud Platform Efficiency: Focus and drive development of all of RevOne's integrated business platform, responding during daily check-ins, with weekly deliverables, and providing agile demonstrations Technical Leadership & Architecture: Define system architecture, establish coding standards, and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, scalable output Development & Innovation: Actively develop complex medical and financial business application features, create prototypes, and optimize existing systems. Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, guide, and support a team of engineers, delegating technical tasks and providing mentorship. Project Execution: Mitigate issues with hands-on troubleshooting, meet timelines, and milestones, acting as a technical escalation point. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (product, hardware, software) to translate business requirements into technical specifications. On-Location Coordination: Work with multi-functional teams and business leaders at RevOne Companies headquarters in Greenwood, IN, Silicon Prairie for the Midwest United States Requirements of the Position Experience: Several years of experience in engineering development, typically including prior experience in a senior or lead role. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in relevant languages/frameworks (e.g., Angular, Java) and software development methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and client requirements. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Common Performance Metrics Meeting project deadlines and milestones.
