Brethren Retirement Community is an EEO Employer - M/F/Disability/Protected Veteran Status DEPARTMENT: HumanResources REPORTS TO: Regional Director ofHuman Resources FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt POSITIONSUMMARY The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, andtracking all required training and education programs for staff in thelong-term care facility. This position ensures compliance with federal, state,and organizational training requirements while supporting staff development andcompetency. The Training Coordinator works closely with department leaders toensure employees receive required onboarding, annual, and ongoing trainingnecessary to provide high-quality resident care. ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Note:Additional duties may be assigned as needed. • Coordinateand schedule all required training programs for facility staff includingorientation, annual education, and regulatory training. • Maintain andtrack training records and compliance documentation in the organization'slearning management or HRIS system. • Ensure staffcomplete all state and federal mandated training requirements • Facilitateor coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding training. • Work withdepartment leaders to identify training needs and develop educational programsto address skill gaps. • Monitor trainingcompletion and provide regular compliance reports to leadership. • Coordinatecompetency validations and skills assessments as required for clinical andnon-clinical staff. • Maintaintraining materials, presentations, and educational resources. • Supportregulatory survey readiness by ensuring training documentation meets compliancestandards. • Coordinateoutside instructors or vendors for specialized training when needed. • Assist withimplementation and administration of the facility's learning management system(LMS) or HRIS training modules. • Communicatetraining schedules, deadlines, and requirements to employees and supervisors. • Promote aculture of continuous learning and professional development. SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITIES Thisposition does not have any supervisory duties. QUALIFICATIONS Toperform this role successfully, an individual must be able to carry out eachessential duty effectively. EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE Nursing RN 1-3 years of experience in staff development, training coordination, human resources, or healthcare education preferred. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare environment strongly preferred. Familiarity with CMS, state regulations, and long-term care training requirements preferred SKILLS ANDABILITIES • Strong organizational andtime-management skills • Excellent communication andpresentation abilities • Ability to coordinate multipletraining schedules and deadlines • Knowledge of adult learning principles • Proficiency in Microsoft Office andHRIS/LMS systems • Strong attention to detail andcompliance tracking PHYSICALDEMANDS Regularlyrequired to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers. Occasionally required to stand, walk, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Requires travel Requires close vision and comfort working on a computer and reviewing printedforms. WORKENVIRONMENT Typicaloffice setting with a low to moderate noise level.
