Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) travel assignment requiring prior charge RN experience, Epic proficiency, and STARR certification. Job Details • Inpatient Behavioral Health unit setting, • Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and pediatrics, • Diagnoses include major depressive disorder (MDD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and substance abuse, • Patient ratio is 1:6, • Epic EMR - experience is mandatory, • Schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, • Every other weekend rotation required, • Holiday coverage required as needed, • Floating between all system facilities may be required for travelers, • 13-week contract, Job Requirements • Active NC or compact RN license required, • Current certifications required: BLS and STARR, • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, • Prior charge RN experience required, • Epic EMR experience is mandatory, • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates, • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration, • Copy of driver's license required for consideration, Additional Information • All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed - candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided, • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
