Travel RN - Case Management/Utilization Review - Case Management

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Case Manager for an Emergency Department-based Case Management position in Greensboro, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency. Job Details • Hospital Emergency Department setting in Greensboro, NC, • Case Management and Utilization Review unit, • Evening shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM (5x8s), • No weekend shifts based on the Monday-Friday schedule, • Epic EMR - experience is mandatory, Job Requirements • Active NC or Compact RN license required, • BLS certification required, • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, • Acute hospital experience required, • Experience in at least one of the following specialties required: ICU, Med-Surg, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, or Observation, • Previous charge nurse experience required, • Epic EMR experience required, • Experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulations required, • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration, • Copy of driver's license required for consideration, Additional Information • Responsibilities include discharge planning, needs assessments, ordering DME, and developing plans of care, • All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed - candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility, • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate, • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position, • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
