Position Summary C2 Vehicles, New England's leading golf car distributor, is seeking an experienced Temporary Delivery Driver Class to support vehicle deliveries during our peak season from our Greenfield, MA dealership. This is a temporary position responsible for operating a 30-foot trailer capable of transporting up to 10 golf carts and utility vehicles. In addition to delivery responsibilities, this position includes light mechanical work, fueling golf carts, and detailing vehicles prior to delivery, as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong team-oriented mindset, flexibility, and a willingness to assist with additional tasks to ensure delivery schedules and customer commitments are met. C2 Vehicles will provide service-related training to the right candidate. Daily Responsibilities Driving delivery truck and 30-foot trailer that can transport up to 10 golf cars or utility vehicles. Loading and unloading truck and trailer- both at the branch prior to delivery and at customer locations. Ensuring all golf carts and/or utility vehicles are strapped and secured on trailers Maintaining vehicle logs, pre-delivery, and post-delivery inspections. Maintaining clear and legible delivery documents- both from deliveries and customer pick-ups. Identifying preventative maintenance on both the truck and trailer and communicating issues timely to eliminate vehicle down time. Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable DOT regulations. Engaging customers during deliveries. Assist C2 team members at times with cleaning or prepping cars for delivery. Qualifications Valid Driver's License DOT Medical Card (Preferred but not required) Clean driving record required Ability to work flexible hours Minimum of 2 years' experience operating a truck and trailer Neat, professional appearance with a customer-focused attitude Professional demeanor with an emphasis on customer service before, during, and after deliveries Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the capability to support light maintenance activities as needed High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and trailer for extended periods Ability to climb in and out of trucks and trailers throughout the day Ability to load, unload, secure, and inspect golf carts and utility vehicles on car haulers Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to meet all DOT physical and medical requirements Compensation The hourly rate for this role is $24.00 - $28.00 Per hour.
