Job Overview As the Manager of Strategic Finance, you will leverage your expertise in financial analytics, forecasting, and insights to bolster Marvin's business strategy. This role is pivotal in driving the demand for financial analysis within Marvin by implementing industry best practices for analytics, reporting, measurement, and actionable insights. You will partner closely with leaders in product development and management to create impactful product and process analytics that evaluate the effects of our activities and investments, ultimately influencing innovative thinking among stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Highlights of Your Role: Craft clear, compelling, and actionable financial insights to enhance understanding of business and financial results. Develop a process for providing business analytics to highlight results and financial impacts of investments, particularly within the product development process. Proactively engage with functional leaders to provide financial insights into business challenges and needs. Present executive-level insights and analytics to illuminate financial performance and drive business decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure analytics align with enterprise goals and empower leaders with tools for informed business decisions. Partner with colleagues to create effective analytics, incorporating diverse perspectives and business impacts into your analyses. Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies for various initiatives and use these metrics to inform strategic improvements. Lead a team of finance professionals to deliver high-quality financial support and analysis. Be open to traveling up to 10% to other company locations. Perform additional duties as required. You're a Great Fit If You Have: The ability to influence and collaborate with senior management across all organizational levels. Comfort in developing analytic plans for diverse business programs and projects. An executive presence, complemented by polished facilitation, communication, and technical skills. The ability to distill complex financial analytics into tailored insights for varied audiences. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. A commitment to building a positive workplace culture in alignment with Marvin's values. We Hope You Bring: 5+ years of experience in leading financial analytics processes and execution. A strong track record in leadership, with experience managing a team and mentoring staff. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related field. Experience in customer-facing roles within a Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods setting. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and v-lookups, along with proficiency in business intelligence tools like Power BI.
