This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door and build a career with Packer Freight-no prior experience required.As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) operations running smoothly. You'll support a team of Account Executives by handling the day-to-day details that keep shipments moving, customers informed, and operations efficient. Track active shipments using internal tools and systems (e.g., MacroPoint and TMS), ensuring timely updates and accurate status information. Run reports and distribute to customers as required (e.g., tracking updates, delivery confirmations). Update and maintain shipment records in the TMS with a high level of attention to detail. Communicate directly with carriers to confirm pick-up and delivery details, resolve issues, and ensure on-time performance. Set appointments for freight pick-up and delivery. Obtain proof of delivery (POD) documentation to ensure carriers are paid accurately. Assist with carrier outreach and securing capacity to cover pending shipments as needed. Provide support to customers when additional help is needed or when Account Executives are unavailable. Support the squad with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed. Help manage and organize Packer Freight's Microsoft Teams folders and files. Navigate a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.Job Qualifications: No prior logistics experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Exhibits company Swagger. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (e.g., email, phone). Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to work quality. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and shift gears quickly. Ability to handle stress and pressure with professionalism. Thrives in a team environment with a focus on building and strengthening relationships. Proficient in common computer software including Microsoft Office; willingness to learn web-based Transportation Management Software (TMS) platforms.
