Hasselberg Grebe Snodgrass Urban & Wentworth is currently seeking an experienced, dedicated, and skilled full-time legal assistantparalegal to join our dynamic team at our downtown Peoria office. Past experience is required.  As a mid-sized law firm with a growing team of 14 talented attorneys, we take pride in our robust and diverse legal practice. We are a general practice firm and handle a wide variety of legal matters, including estate planning, probate estates, real estate, business organizations, ag law, family law, and civil litigation. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate exceptional abilities in managing the timely and precise transcription and compilation of pleadings and various legal documents. In addition to document management, the ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling, docket management, data entry, maintaining client communications, and efficient filing practices. Proficiency in commonly used computer applications within the legal sector such as Windows 11 and Microsoft Office applications, alongside strong computer and typing skills enabling efficient handling of diverse administrative tasks is essential. The successful candidate will also provide vital assistance to our assigned attorneys, contributing to the smooth operation of our practice. We offer a competitive compensation package, with hourly rates ranging from $20.00 to $26.00, depending on experience and position.
