Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: As a Loss Prevention Specialist, your primary role is to safeguard the company from financial loss due to theft and fraud while ensuring safety and environmental program compliance across assigned locations. You will utilize various tools to minimize loss, including, but not limited to: Identifying theft and fraud incidents. Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports. Monitoring the store's physical security. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance. Promoting a culture focused on shrink elimination. Your responsibilities also include preparing accurate case reports to document apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, and engaging with law enforcement when necessary, including testifying in criminal and civil court actions. It is crucial to report any unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and to conduct your duties in a manner that minimizes injury risks to yourself, fellow associates, vendors, customers, and the company. You must demonstrate integrity consistently and effectively respond to asset protection concerns from all associates while remaining focused on specific business objectives that support key asset protection responsibilities.
