Project Manager- Building Maintenance Units/Powered Platform Maintenance Salary Range: $35.00 - $45.00 Hourly Position Type: Part Time Description Applied Technical Services, LLC ("ATS" or the "Company") is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services. We are seeking a part-time Project Manager specializing in Building Maintenance Units (BMUs)/Powered Platform Maintenance projects to join our Consulting and Design team. You will serve as one of the primary schedulers for inspections. You will leverage your BMU and Powered Platform knowledge by providing technical support and information to field personnel. You will provide quality assurance reviews of technical reports. You will source and order necessary parts and materials as needed. You will collaborate with team members to prepare quotes. The ideal candidate has experience with BMUs and powered platforms. Position will ideally be based in the Grand Rapids, MN area. We will consider other professionally qualified Project Managers residing in other locations. Responsibilities: Advise and support field personnel with BMU and Powered Platform technical information. Assure timely scheduling of inspections, repairs, and track delivery of reports. Source, order, and timely delivery of necessary parts and materials for client inspections, repairs, and maintenance. Perform timely quality assurance reviews of team reports. Provide timely and professional communications with assigned clients, and team staff, as required. Coordinate necessary activities with clients, billing and administrative staff, and technicians. Occasional travel and attendance for client meetings, field measurements and gathering data, industry conferences, company meetings, and other industry-related events, etc. as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Experience and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); College or technical school degree or equivalent preferred 4 + years of related experience Knowledge of powered platform codes and industry standards is preferred. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to produce grammatically and technically accurate reports and communications. Valid driver's license and ability to meet ATS driving record standards. Must be able to pass a background and drug screening. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance to access military bases and perform job duties.
