Healthcare Application Support Analyst

Responsibilities:Support the hospital's EMR system (Meditech Expanse)Help doctors/nurses if the system has issuesCreate user accounts and permissionsTroubleshoot tickets from the help deskCoordinate software upgrades and testingTrain hospital staff on how to use the systemImprove workflows to make hospital operations easierEnsure patient data is accurate and secureWork between IT teams and healthcare staff to solve problemsSkills:Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems (Meditech Expanse EMR experience).Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.Proficiency in training and supporting EMR system users - including physicians.Excellent verbal and written technical/non-technical communication skills.Ability to translate technical functions and terminology with Business Operations and Physician Practice staff.Business Relationship Management (BRM).Dedication to process improvement and ownership of assigned projects and products.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in either Nursing, Health Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
