Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.Minimum Requirements:National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred certifications in OB/GYN and General Ultrasound).Experience performing abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and small parts ultrasound exams in a hospital or outpatient women's health clinic environment. (Client requires experience in Women's Health ultrasound).BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.Ability to operate, calibrate, and perform basic quality checks on ultrasound equipment and ensure proper cleaning and disinfection between patients.Strong patient communication and documentation skills for clinic-based workflows.Preferred: 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer. Preferred: experience with electronic medical record systems used in hospital settings.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital (Women's Health Clinic).Shift Name: Days.Workdays: Monday-Thursday and Friday schedule as follows: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM.Shift Type: Day shift. No nights or weekends.Assignment Type: Full-time, temporary/contract.Start: 26-week assignment beginning March (start month indicated by client). Location Highlights.
