Surgery - Vascular Nurse Practitioner

An exciting locum opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience is available in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This role offers a balanced schedule between inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic care while working alongside an experienced cardiothoracic surgery team. Location Grand Forks, North Dakota Position Cardiothoracic Surgery APP Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Locum) Assignment Details Start: As soon as available End Date: July 2026 Coverage needed due to provider leave Opportunity for several months of consistent locum coverage Schedule Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:30 PM Mix of clinic responsibilities and inpatient rounding Call responsibilities may be required depending on scheduling needs Practice Setting Work across clinic and hospital settings Collaborative team environment including: Two Cardiothoracic Surgeons Advanced Practice Providers Clinic support staff including RN and LPN ️ Role & Responsibilities The Cardiothoracic Surgery APP will support the surgical team by: Performing inpatient rounds and post-operative care Evaluating and managing cardiothoracic surgery patients Seeing clinic patients for follow-up and consultations Collaborating with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams Supporting treatment planning and patient management Patient Volume Approximately clinic patients per day Additional inpatient rounding responsibilities Requirements Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Previous Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required Ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient care Strong communication and teamwork skills Highlights of This Opportunity Work with an experienced cardiothoracic surgery team Balanced inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Consistent weekday schedule Opportunity for several months of locum coverage Interested in learning more or submitting your CV?
