If you’re reliable, observant, and ready to bring a professional and friendly presence to the hotel, this role is perfect for you.What You’ll DoAs a Hotel Security Guard, you will: Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, families, and Model Citizens Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, including assisting in investigations and completing written reports Record observations, information, occurrences, and participate in surveillance activities Interview witnesses and obtain photographs when needed Monitor access control and conduct security screenings of guests and staff Dispatch and respond to radio calls efficiently Secure hotel facilities, equipment, and other assets Execute all opening, operating, and closing procedures as instructed by Management Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and guest safety You’ll help ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all guests — especially families visiting for an unforgettable vacation!Who You Are Friendly, approachable, and professional in appearance Dependable, responsible, and alert Comfortable standing, walking, and patrolling for long periods and distances Flexible and ready to work nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays Able to make families feel safe while still creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere A strong team player who enjoys working with others Requirements Must possess a current valid New York State security guard license Must be 18 years or older Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Flexible schedule required (shifts may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays) Strong verbal and written English communication skills Preferred candidates will have: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or hospitality Knowledge of local area and hotel operations Safety & ComplianceTeam members must follow all company Health, Safety & Security policies and comply with ASTM, NEC, NSF, OSHA, and state/local regulations.
