What You’ll Be Responsible For Clinical Leadership Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations Ensure compliance with DOH, CMS, and state/federal regulations Maintain a strong, accountable clinical culture Provide hands-on floor leadership during high-acuity shifts Team Development Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Mentor and coach nursing staff Address performance concerns constructively Foster a collaborative, team-first environment Survey & Regulatory Readiness Maintain continuous survey readiness Support DOH and CMS surveys and audits Assist in plans of correction and regulatory follow-through Quality & Outcomes Participate in QAPI initiatives Monitor key clinical indicators (falls, infections, readmissions, wound care) Drive improvements in outcomes and star ratings High-Acuity Oversight Support ventilator, dialysis, and sub-acute rehabilitation populations Oversee individualized care planning Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams What We’re Looking For Active, unencumbered New York RN license 3–5+ years of SNF/LTC experience Prior leadership experience (Unit Manager, ADON, or similar) Strong knowledge of DOH/CMS regulations and MDS processes Experience with high-acuity residents EHR proficiency (PointClickCare or SigmaCare preferred) If you’re a motivated nursing leader who values accountability, teamwork, and clinical excellence — and you’re ready for the next step in your leadership journey — we’d love to connect.
