POSITION: Billing Specialist DEPARTMENT: Primary Care Center JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this job is to be responsible for posting of all daily charges for all locations, ensuring accuracy of coding and registration and to enhance cash collected by review and follow-up of third-party open accounts receivable. EDUCATION: Possess a High School diploma or equivalent. PREFERRED: Possess an associate's degree in business administration, Health Administration or related field. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: None EXPERIENCE: Possess two (2) years of experience in an ambulatory provider practice setting. Possess working knowledge of Expanse and Expanse applications and interfaces. SHIFT: 8:00AM - 4:30AM STATUS: 40 HOURS RATE OF PAY: $19.44 - $20.94 / HOUR Req # 641
