This is a proactive, relationship-driven sales role focused on helping clients navigate important decisions around their health coverage, life insurance, and financial protection needs.In this role, you will partner with individuals and families to assess their needs, educate them on available options, and provide tailored recommendations across a range of Life & Health solutions. You will also collaborate closely with leadership and internal service teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience from initial consultation through ongoing support.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and secure new Life & Health clientsGenerate opportunities through networking, referrals, centers of influence, digital outreach, and community involvementMeet and exceed key performance indicators including revenue, new business production, and activity goalsMaintain an active and organized sales pipeline within CRM systemsConduct thorough needs assessments to understand client health, financial, and protection goalsPresent customized solutions including:Health Insurance (Individual & Family)Life Insurance (Term, Whole, Universal)Supplemental and ancillary products (e.g., dental, vision, disability)Educate clients on plan options, coverage differences, and long-term considerationsPerform policy reviews to identify gaps and cross-sell opportunitiesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing client supportBuild and maintain relationships with carrier partners and stay informed on product offerings and market changesFollow agency workflows, documentation standards, and compliance requirementsParticipate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional developmentCore CompetenciesRelationship building and trust developmentConsultative, needs-based sellingStrong communication and presentation skillsEducation-focused client approachOrganization and follow-throughCollaboration and teamworkAccountability and goal orientationAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingContinuous learning mindsetMinimum QualificationsActive Life & Health License (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)Proven success in sales, business development, or insurance productionStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems preferredAssociate or Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)Commitment to ongoing professional education and developmentJob Environment and ConditionsPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, communicate, and use hands and arms.
