Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Glens Falls, NY where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current NY State Respiratory Care license (must be uploaded with profile prior to consideration).NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.Clinical experience: critical care and labor & delivery/neonatal resuscitation experience required.Clinical competence with Epic electronic health record required.Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP (must be current and uploaded with profile).Profile documentation requirements: complete work history and skills checklist (current to within 1 year), one supervisory signed reference from within the past two years, and permanent address that matches driver license/state ID.Agencies/candidates must be able to provide a New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate when applicable.Ability to pass a 14-panel drug screen per facility requirements.Minimum one year experience as an RRT preferred.Preferred: Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory care program is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift: Nights.Shift hours: 6:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.; 36 hours per week. The therapist will work with inpatients and outpatients of all ages who have cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities, following established protocols or physician orders.
