They are seeking a Business Analyst who will enhance process efficiency, optimize data workflows, and strengthen operational decisionmaking across the organization. This role combines business analysis, cost accounting support, ERP expertise, and crossfunctional collaboration within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Position Overview The Business Analyst will support financial operations, maintain internal controls, and help drive the organization's digital transformation, including participation in an ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics. This position plays a key role in connecting finance, IT, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to improve data integrity and operational performance. Key areas of focus include: Accounting support for monthly ERP close, ensuring accuracy and consistencyMaintaining inventory controls and product costing integrityOverseeing and improving internal controls related to costing, inventories, and ERP workflowsSupporting ERP data inputs and functionality, including migration activitiesActing as a cross-functional liaison between finance, IT, production, engineering, and salesEnabling reporting and analytics for operational and financial teams Key Responsibilities Costing & Accounting Assist Sales and Engineering with costing for new product developmentMaintain accuracy of the cost accounting system and related internal controlsSupport monthly ERP close activities, reconciliations, validations, and reportingClose sales, job costing, and inventory modules at monthend and yearendAssist with journal entries and financial audit preparation Inventory & Controls Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle count and reconciliation programsInput and reconcile quantity adjustments within ERPPartner with management to address and improve internal control gapsMonitor and report daily/monthly margin changes and cost deviations ERP & Data Systems Support ERP reporting needs and contribute to process optimizationsServe as a subject matter resource for ERP workflows and data structuresProvide ERP user support, documentation, and training across departmentsSupport automation initiatives and enhancements to business systemsActively participate in ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics Analytics & Reporting Translate data into meaningful operational and financial insightsCoordinate with customer service and production to ensure accurate invoicingProvide weekly status updates on initiatives to managementBuild, refine, or improve reports and dashboards (Power BI preferred) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business discipline with a quantitative focusStrong analytical and problemsolving capabilitiesHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)Ability to navigate and understand ERP workflows and data structuresExperience collaborating with IT, finance, engineering, production, and customer serviceExcellent communication skills with the ability to propose mitigation strategiesStrong project coordination skills and ability to prioritize effectivelyERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)Preferred: SQL skills, Power BI experience, familiarity with AI tools
