(Multiple sites within Sewell, Sicklerville, and Glassboro)FLSA Status: HourlyJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our culinary team at Liscio's Italian Bakery, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas and managing all aspects of pizza preparation, from ingredient selection to baking. This role demands a high level of energy and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings according to our traditional recipes.Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment with proficiency and safety.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pizza preparation and serving areas.Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.Ensure all pizzas are prepared to a high standard and in line with company guidelines.Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.Address and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality or service.Adhere to health and safety regulations.Qualifications:2-3 years of experience in the food industry, specifically in a fast-paced environment.Proven experience in food preparation, with a preference for skills in baking and pizza oven operation.Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.Available to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.Bilingual proficiency is preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse team and customer base.Reliable transportation is required, as the position involves working at multiple sites within Glassboro, Sewell and Sicklerville and possibly traveling between our bakeries and deli.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
