Provide specialized occupational therapy services as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within an acute hospital setting, focusing on medical-surgical and ICU patients. This opportunity requires delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting recovery and rehabilitation efforts. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy interventions to an average caseload of 10 patients per day. Manage patient treatment plans in medical-surgical and ICU units. Document interventions and patient progress accurately, preferably using EMR systems like MedHost. Comply with hospital policies and safety protocols. Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Desired Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC. Familiarity with MedHost EMR system preferred. Ability to wear solid color scrubs as part of the dress code. Must live more than 50 miles from the facility location. Candidates must include a start date and return-to-work date upon submission.
