PositionHR CoordinatorDepartmentEdison47-MAINReports To: ControllerFLSA ClassificationHourly/Non-ExemptJob SummaryEdison47, a local Property Management firm, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of HR processes while serving as the primary internal liaison to our PEO, Vensure Employer Services. This role is responsible for directing employee and manager inquiries to the appropriate resources, coordinating the payroll cycle, and refining established processes. In addition, this role includes office administrative responsibilities such as handling incoming calls, sorting mail, and welcoming guests.This role is designed for an HR professional with 2+ years of experience who is comfortable operating independently within established systems. You will serve as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries, working closely with Vensure and internal partners to ensure accurate, timely execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable taking ownership of tasks, utilizing resources effectively, and moving work forward without frequent guidance.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary internal liaison to our PEO, coordinating payroll processing, auditing outputs for accuracy, and managing off-cycle adjustmentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across systems, including hires, terminations, and compensation changesAct as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, directing employees and managers to the appropriate internal or external resourcesEnsure timely, clear, and professional communication while managing follow-up and resolution of HR requestsSupport onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system setup, and coordination with relevant partnersProvide administrative support for employee relations processes through accurate documentation and record-keepingAssist with recruiting coordination, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and offer letter preparationPartner with hiring managers to support a consistent and efficient hiring processUpdate and maintain existing SOPs, templates, and HR process documentation to ensure consistency and scalabilityAdminister performance review cycles and distribute HR-related resources and documentationSupport office administration functions, including handling inbound calls, sorting and distributing mail, and coordinating office guestsQualificationsRequired2+ years of experience in HR or payrollUnderstanding of payroll processes and employee lifecycle administrationHigh attention to detail and ability to manage data across multiple systemsStrong organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalismPreferredExperience in multi-site or property management environmentsExposure to HRIS/payroll systems and reporting toolsExperience supporting employee relations processesBachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experienceCompensation & BenefitsCompensation:Salary Range: $30-$36/hourBenefits:Paid Time Off, Holidays, Medical, Dental, and Vision options, and 401(k) with discretionary employer match.Opportunity to live on site with employee discount after probationary periodAdditional InformationAny applicant selected for this position will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screening (for illegal substances only) and background check.Edison 47 is an Equal Opportunity & Drug-Free EmployerDisclaimer: This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job duties and responsibilities.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
