The position includes a mix of hospital rounds, operating room, and clinic responsibilities. Coverage is needed for 6 weeks each month. Patient volume will range from 40 to 70 patients per day. The practice consists of a renovated office space with 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms. Support staff includes 3 medical assistants, 1 LPN, a surgical scheduler, and front office staff. Experience with an adult patient population is required, as no pediatric care is involved. Candidates must hold active licensure in both their state of residence and the state where services are provided. All active licenses will be verified prior to the start of the position. Temporary privileges may be available for urgent needs with approval. Medical malpractice history disclosure is required for all candidates. Credentialing will take place within a timeframe of less than 90 days.
