Who We're Looking ForManufacturing Development Team (MDT) is seeking a passionate and highly motivated TILT Technician to support the daily operations, sustainability, and continuous improvement of the TILT Lab.The primary responsibility of this role is the management, usage, and technical support of equipment within the TILT Lab. This includes preparing daily team plans and job tracking, coaching technicians, fostering strong communication and problem-solving, supporting kaizen activities, ensuring team safety, and maintaining standardized work.Reporting to the TILT Manager, this role is critical to sustaining a high-performing TILT environment that enables engineers across Powertrain Engineering (PE) to effectively utilize lab resources.What You'll Be DoingCreate, manage, and complete TILT work ordersIdentify time, materials, and machine requirements for project completionSupport daily TILT lab operations and engineer requestsFabricate parts and tooling using a variety of manufacturing technologiesPerform and manage preventive maintenance plans for TILT Lab equipmentIdentify and lead kaizen opportunities to improve lab processes and equipmentEnsure 5S standards are implemented and sustained within the TILT LabContinuously learn and apply new tools, technologies, and methodsProvide technician coaching and support problem-solving activitiesCommunicate effectively (written and verbal) with TILT members, management, and cross-functional teams to resolve issuesWork overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
