Sr. Dispatcher

Position Summary This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area. Essential Functions * Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries * Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers * Lead and mentor dispatching staff * Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets * Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors * Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts * Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously * Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members * Monitor web portals for station inventories * Solicit freight from customers * Create loads in dispatch system * Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members * Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system)
