Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Join an Award-Winning Facility:We are excited to announce an immediate opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established, 16-bed Level-III NICU practice located at a renowned medical center in the Charlotte suburb of Gastonia, North Carolina. Our facility has received numerous accolades, including ranking as one of Thomson Reuters Top 100 Hospitals.Job Responsibilities: Provide care in a 16-suite, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Collaborate with neonatologists to deliver comprehensive care for patients. Assist with coverage in the newborn nursery. Provide 20 hours per day of shift coverage, including in-house daytime support and back-up call from home at night. Participate in the ongoing expansion of services, including new hospital plans in nearby Belmont.Qualifications: Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing. Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not accepted). A minimum of 2 years of employment experience as an NNP (not including RN experience) is required.License and Certification Requirements: Must hold a valid North Carolina license (or be willing to obtain one). DEA certification must be obtained prior to the start date.
