The GCBS Volunteer Corp Leadership Program Needs YOU! "Lead the Change. Your Vision, Our Mission." Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Our Volunteer Corps Leadership Training Program is looking for dedicated individuals ready to step up and shape the future of community service. What is the GCBS Volunteer Corps? The Garden City Bird Sanctuary, Inc. (GCBS) has a core group of approximately 30 individuals that keep our 9-acre jewel open to the public during our open season (weekends from the end of April to the end of September, 10am-6pm, weather permitting). The Volunteer Corp also beatifies the grounds and helps with events. What is the GCBS Volunteer Corps Leadership Training Program? This comprehensive program is designed to transform enthusiastic people into effective and inspiring leaders. We equip you with the essential tools, knowledge, and practical experience needed to lead the Volunteer Corp and take us to the next level in environmental stewardship.
