Senior Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant, who will be responsible for income tax return review, analysis and preparation as well as assisting the Tax Manager with completion of various tax filings and reporting obligations, and oversight of bookkeeping, general ledger, and related activities for individuals and businesses.Duties and Responsibilities:Work with clients to provide excellent professional servicesData analysis, review and input for individual, business, trust and estate income tax returnsDevelop accounting and tax workpapersBookkeeping and account reconciliation, as neededGeneral accounting services for clientsPrepare and review accounting work papers.Collaborate with team members and supervise staff accountantsHelp build a growing tax practice.Skills and qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field. CPA qualification is preferred3-5 years of relevant tax and accounting experienceExperience with tax software and individual and entity tax return preparationExperience with bookkeeping and payrollProficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks OnlineProactive and independent thinkerStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and able to handle a sizable work-load, prioritize assignments, and pay skillful attention to detailWillingness to do what needs to be done - this is a small firm and at times everyone will pitch in and do whatever it takes to get the job done!Salary Range (based on experience): $65,000 - $85,000
