An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge at a behavioral health inpatient facility. This role offers a vital opportunity to oversee pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital setting while supporting patient care during a transitional period. The assignment is expected to last approximately four weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is hired. Location: St Charles, MO Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 30-minute unpaid meal break Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise daily pharmacy functions ensuring compliance with regulations. Repackage medications using MilT, Medi-dose, or HCL systems. Load drugs into automated dispensing machines and run restock reports. Maintain accuracy and safety in medication dispensing processes. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Desired Qualifications: Valid Missouri pharmacist license. Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred. Familiarity with repackaging techniques and automated drug loading. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
