Job Description The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. A successful candidate will oversee safety, environmental, business continuity, facility security, asset conservation, DOT, and pandemic planning to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and Kraft Heinz policies. This role partners closely with factory leadership to reduce operational risk, drive continuous improvement, and protect our people and brands. Key responsibilities * Operational risk & compliance * Administer and drive ORM processes and ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT and other regulations. * Implement the Kraft Heinz Safety Playbook, Safety Rules, and ORM Management Systems and best practices. * Maintain QRMP accountability and participate in annual audits, corrective actions, and system updates. * Program management & training * Lead site ORM strategies aligned to corporate objectives; use metrics to measure and communicate performance. * Deliver training to managers and employees to build ORM awareness and capability. * Maintain Intelex and HNA SharePoint records and support documentation control. * Incident, claims & continuity management * Act as primary liaison for incidents that could impact brand integrity; coordinate investigations and corrective actions. * Support injury and claims management, workers' compensation processes, and related hearings or regulatory interactions. * Serve as backup to the ORM Manager and assist in supervising ORM staff (performance management, development). * Support continuous improvement initiatives (Six Sigma / KHMS) and lead change where needed. * Manage ORM-related budget diligence and meet corporate deadlines. Required qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Safety & Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent preferred. * Minimum 3 years' experience in safety and environmental management, preferably in food manufacturing. * At least 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience. * Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and ORM/management systems (experience with ISO 14001, ASP/CSP/CHMM a plus).
