If you’re seeking a role that fosters professional growth and community connection, let’s start a conversation.Local Team Collaboration:We take pride in our well-established team, which currently comprises 16 members, including 6 daytime rounders, 1 swing physician, 1 nocturnist, and a clinical performance registered nurse at Washington Hospital.Excellent nursing staff as well as collaborative consulting services.Outstanding hospital leadership who are very supportive of our team.Our open and respectful culture includes integrity, honesty, and support.Qualifications:A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution is required.Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineAn active medical license in California or eligibility for licensure is required.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.Scheduling:Part-time is 7 shifts per month.Key Responsibilities:Washington Hospital is a 415-bed acute-care hospital with a 28-bed ICU and a 23-bed emergency room.Closed ICU – the ICU team runs 24/7 intensivist support and codes.Manageable workload and encounters foster a balanced and supportive work environment.Epic EMR and have access to Sound Physicians’ internal informatics platform for streamlined and efficient workflow.Living and Working in Fremont:Located on the Eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, Fremont, California, is an ethnically diverse community.
