Material Handler

The Material Handler supports warehouse and manufacturing operations by managing inventory, material flow, shipping, and safety compliance. This role requires hands-on material handling, system transactions, equipment operation, and strict adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities• Review customer orders and examine, stock, and distribute materials within warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing lines• Move materials between loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas• Identify, label, and track materials to maintain accurate inventory records• Perform and report cycle counts• Oversee crating and auditing of outbound materials• Prepare finished products for shipment by locating, pulling, packing, and loading materialsEquipment and Systems• Operate forklifts, trucks, cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment as required• Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and submitting operator repair requests• Complete material transactions in SAP• Create non-conformance reports in IQMS• Close manufacturing tasks in the MFG Cell Fusion application• Coordinate nonstandard crating, rigging, and trucking through approved channelsRequired Skills and Qualifications• Inventory control and warehouse operations• Safety management and compliance• Time management and meeting deadlines• Organization and attention to detail• Process improvement• Data entry and system accuracy• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
