Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Accountant Specialist to manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in accurate financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and compliance with regulations in a fast-paced environment. Duties Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, including account and balance sheet reconciliations as well as accounts receivable and payable processing. Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, reports, and forecasts that support informed organizational decision-making. Manage cash flow activities, conducting accurate cash flow forecasting. Maintain precise records through accounting software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Handle payroll processing and ensure all related tax filings comply with applicable laws. Assist in the budgeting process, providing valuable insights for financial planning. Support the development of internal controls and participate in external audits and regulatory reporting as required. Lead or assist in special projects addressing technical accounting issues or enhancements to processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience. In-depth knowledge of financial principles including double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger management. Experience with a variety of accounting software platforms. Proven skills in financial report writing, financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Strong understanding of cash management practices and technical accounting principles. Exceptional analytical abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.
